  • Quiet Claim Deed

I am the grantee of a quit claim deed and I am not liable for any taxes or loans against it. The original grantor is liable for all and has recently defaulted on the loan. I have now had a lien placed against my home that is not the piece of property that was granted how can this happen

      Which country are you in?

Has the grantor been declared bankrupt?
