  • Provident/Lowell vs Me

Apologies i just realised i had to post this thread in the correct section.

Good afternoon all, I hope I can get some assistance as Im facing a challenge.

A claim was issued against me on 02/08/2019

My acknowledgment of service was submitted on 06/08/2019 at 15:50:02

My acknowledgment of service was received on 07/08/2019 at 08:05:23

I was meant to send across the CCA and the CAR forms as well as directed as I intended to defend the claim fully but My son had a bad fall abroad was admitted into ICU and after a few days he died with us by his side.

We went ahead and arranged the funeral and all was completed though it took a bit of time to fully complete. I have just returned (a few days ago) and realise that I may not have much time to complete and send a defence without having received the information from the claimants.

Is there anyway I could acquire more time to put together my defence and have time to request the CCA and CAR forms?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
