  • Lowell Solicitors Talk Talk Letter of Claim

    Hello

need some help with a letter of claim I have revived from lowell solicitors asking for me to respond in 30 days or they will proceed with CCJ.

I have contacted them this morning to dispute claim and state it was my ex partners debt but yes it was in my name. I have a form to complete saying it is not my debt but I’m looking for a letter template similar to that of an SAR requesting for proof of credit agreement as this was a good few years back.

    Thank you

It is probably not a good idea to contact them in anyway apart from email or recorded letter.

The debt is yours as it is in your name. There is no get out clauses that are applied because your partner owes the money to you. Maybe you should ask your ex-partner to contribute or make direct payments to you that you can then pass on to Lowell. Unless you are saying your ex-partner got these services by fraud.

You should do a SAR to Talk Talk to make sure you have the information which might speed things up a little.

Lowell will do whatever they want & you will not be in control of their actions. I am afraid you will just have to sit back & wait after you send the SAR & make sure you open all your post.
