Hi ,thanks for reading ,I hope someone can help, I have had a claim come through for overpayment of wages , I have sent the acknowledgement of service , part defending the claim however I was just reading the claim and believe they made a mistake. The particulars of Claim states "The Claimants Claim is for the sum of £££££ due to the claimant from the Defendant from the 22/12/16 to 22/12/16 " . Now that day was my last day of employment no money was paid that day in fact they owed me money , obviously this is a mistake on there behalf as the date should of been July the following year .I don't owe the amount they are claiming ,they are out by thousands of pounds but how do I go from here ? I owe no money as of that day but I admitted part of the claim , I would like a bit more time with this as I am still waiting on information to help my defence and the paper work has to be in for Christmas eve , can I force a retraction of the claim ? and I presume they resubmit the claim giving me a bit more time ?
