Hi all can I say I really appreciate any replies and advice I get in advance so recently I received a letter from Lowell solicitors stating that I owe them £1008 for a credit account i allegedly had and that they have an CCJ that they obtained in 2015 which is correct as I checked my credit profile and can see it I didn’t realise I had a CCJ I contacted Lowell and disputed the debt that was for a mail order account I had in 2012 which I don’t remember ever having I did admit to having mail order accounts that did default in 2007/08 but for small amounts around £150-£250 and wondered if it was for one of those Lowell state it isn’t after sever emails back and fourth I was told the debt was passed around between agencies and had interest and charges placed on it I asked several times for a signed CCA to prove the debt was mine after 5 weeks they provided me with a digital unsigned CCA I was just wondering where I’d stand at setting this aside sorry for the long post
