lowell court claim ,Old Orange account

I have received a claim form from Lowell for an old Orange debt that I believe is now statute bared.
claim was issued 25th Jan 2018 and I have acknowledged claim and stated I intend to defend all of the claim.
I would appreciate some help in defending this. Thanks.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
