Hi all, I should have posted this a little while back. Firstly, thank you for everyone's help - we ended up having the decision reversed in court. After a successful appeal to have the CCJ set aside, a new court date was set for a hearing about the case. The judge ruled in our favour due to the fact that there are no clear markings in that area of the car park in order to define what a space is. We were also awarded costs and the set aside judgement fee of £255. I would suggest that if there is a way for you to avoid going to court that you do so, it's an extremely long-winded and time-consuming way to get justice. I would suggest that you listen to the advice on this an other forums in order to help you. The judge in the hearing did also suggest that a lot of my defence was invalid and that I should be careful if it happens again not to just copy parts of other old defences that have been posted online on forums like this.

Hi, glad you won you case! I have a case almost exactly the same in the same car park and am currently waiting for a court date. Out of interest what was the overriding reason the judge awarded in your favour? Was it purely the lack of markings?
