You select no to making a 'counterclaim'.

Thank you - I can't seem to find an email address to email them. Their website only gives me phone number and then asks you to fill in your details of your account.

Make sure there is a reference / account number on the email.

Morning I have received a response from Civil National Business Centre with 'Notice of Proposed Allocation on the Small Claims Track'. What does this mean and what are my next steps?

Small Track means the claim is below £10,000.

You need to fill in the Directions Questionnaire, a copy goes to the Court and the Creditors solicitors.
At some point you will have Mediation.

Good morning, on section D of the form suitability for determination without a hearing, do I select yes or no? Section F hearing venue, is there a venue in Cardiff or Newport Gwent which I could select? Also do I select yes or no to expert evidence? What is the likely outcome after mediation will they still pursue the CCJ or will an arrangement be put in place.

                        a) on section D of the form suitability for determination without a hearing, do I select yes or no?

                        NO, you want a Hearing.

                        b) Section F hearing venue, is there a venue in Cardiff or Newport Gwent which I could select?

                        https://www.find-court-tribunal.service.gov.uk/

                        c) Also do I select yes or no to expert evidence?

                        No, expert evidence.

                        d) What is the likely outcome after mediation will they still pursue the CCJ or will an arrangement be put in place.

Wait for Mediation, one step at a time.

Thanks ECHAT11. On the form it says you must by 15th May 2026 complete the N180 and file it with the court office. I am issuing this today, will I be out of time?

Email it to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk (phone the Court to make sure that's the correct email address).

In the subject line write Claim Number: XXXXXXXXX - Defendent's Directions Questionnaire - XXXXXXXXX v XXXXXXXX

Email it to the Creditor's Solicitor, same information in the subject line.
