    Orbit/Cabot

    I just had a first visit from Orbit attempting to chase a very old Cabot debt. The debt from Cabot is from an old marbles card debt which I had originally disputed but never got anywhere.
    Cabot have constantly chased this debt with letters which I have never responded.
    the debt in question is over 10 years old. What are my options? Orbit have asked for a call, I won't call them but I don't want them chasing me.

    Welcome to LB

    If you haven't acknowledged the debt in writing in the last 6 years or made a
    payment in the last 6 years, then the debt maybe statute barred.

    So you send them a statute barred letter, make sure you get Proof of Postage.
