Good day,
Three months ago, I won a gold item at a London auction for approximately £5,000. According to the agreement with the auction house, the item was to be shipped to Switzerland.
When the package reached Swiss Post, its tracking updates stopped. After two months of communicating with Swiss Post (by email, in person, and by reporting the matter to the local police), they confirmed that the item was lost without trace.
The auction house informed me by email that they needed to wait three months for Royal Mail to complete their investigation. However, after two months, they stopped responding to my emails.
A friend of mine, who recently won a small court case, advised me that it would be a good idea to determine who is responsible for the loss.
Regards,
Alex
