I think we need more information...

I think it depends on which stage you are at of getting insured. You should have a no quibble cooling off period so perhaps investigate that option."Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012

Hi Celestine
so , my Husband had a multi car insurance policy. 2 cars.
1st car - husband was main driver , I was named driver.
2nd car - i was main driver on 2nd car while my husband was named driver .
1st car - A branch fell on right side due to extreme weather while I was driving. It was my first claim, that was recorded as a fault claim as there was no opponent. Please note I was named driver.
2nd car - My husband unfortunately had an accident driving the 2nd car . I was not involved, I was not in the car . I’m no way near the car. Police were called and we have a record of that.
That was the background.
Now while I’m taking a new policy , I’m being told by underwriters to add the 2nd car accident as a fault claim under my name. They also mentioned the accident was under my name. I’m surprised. I have queried and provided a document which says my husband is policy holder for both cars, and Its a false statement that I was involved in accident.
They say below , “We've reviewed the document supplied by you and it confirms you (My name ) is the main driver of the vehicle (xxxxxx) involved in the accident dated 15/03/2023. Therefore, the claim will need to be added to the policy as fault to proceed. “
my question- should I accept this ? Is this fair ? What are the insurance rules please can someone help me
Also , if they need to add this claim under my name , though I’m not the policy holder but I’m the main driver then , the 1st Car claim must be removed from name as I’m the named driver for the car and my husband is the main driver.
im truly confused. Please kindly suggest. I find this unfair.
Thank in Advance
regards.
