judgement for claimant

Got a letter saying judgement for claim.

From first parking from dcb legal.

I tried to check money claim online with the use of claim number but it asks for password which is not included in the letter.

Tried to call civil national business centre. 03001231056 too

Is there someway to dispute this?

Need to payŁ385.25

It is possible to apply for the judgment to be set aside, but the application costs Ł275 (Ł108 if claimant consents)
Whether or not it will be viable to contest this will depend on the circumstances

So with a fee of Ł275 it would be more prudent to just pay? (Ł108) Can i ask the criteria for the circumstances please?

It's only worth applying for set aside if you have a viable defence to the claim.

the judgment states you did not reply to the claim so why not?

Did you not receive the claim form?
Do you know what the claim is about?
presumably you received a parking charge notice (PCN) from First Parking. Do you still have it?
Did you respond to the PCN? If so did you identify the driver?

The PCN may be defective,
The signs at the car park might be defective
The claim form itself might be defective

Without a lot more info it's impossible to say if it's worthwhile applying for set aside

I dont know what a claim for is till yesterday. I had to google what it looked like.
I only googled it because i got the judgment for claimant.
I contested the PCN from first parking they rejected so i went to POPLA who also rejected.
driver identified.
I do want to contest it because i pay a monthly subscription to parking and they have no loss of income.

So I called DCB legal and spoke to them to ask for their consent to set aside.
But they asked me to email to them the reason for getting to their consent to set aside
and supporting documents.
I asked them what is in the supporting documents that they want but they said
they are not legally trained and therefore cannot say what's in the supporting documents, hence
i should seek professional legal advice?
Then they said debt recovery will be the next step since judgement for claimant is in place if i do not pay.

I would like to write to them and ask for their consent to set aside but they want supporting documents.

I asked them what documents they said they're not legally trained therefore i should seek legal advice.

the lady i spoke to said to email them at info@dcblegal.co.uk as soon as i have the supporting documents.

im trying to search on internet what this may mean but having difficulty.

And don't ask the other party's representative to advise you.
