I am asking a specific question on here, as I know that there are so many diverse and really informative people on this forum, and would believe the collective opinium of posters on here, rather than Google.
Ok, basic details. My 2 friends had a transport business. They could not pay the commercial rent. They got kicked out and the landlady sold all their equipment. The police were not interested, and said it was a civil matter. So, I researched the law, and 2 county court summons were issued against the limited company. The main thrust of the legal action was "Involuntary Bailee legislation and compensation for selling their property.
So the Limited company has the landlady registered with companies house as both the company sectretary and also the sole director, but at different addresses
The role of director is registered at the business address.
The role of company secretary is registered at the landladys home address.
I used the business address on the county court summons.
I have since had one AI app inform me that because of the above information, I should have used the home address listed as company secretary at companies house
Another AI app says different, and states that the business address listed for company director is correct.
Have I got it right?
Have I got it wrong?
