Yesterday (31/07/25), I received a "Parking Charge" notice, dated 19/07/25 (12 days after issued).
It doesn't say that Premier Parking are working on behalf of a local authority but instead, that I was parked on private land and that I breached the terms and conditions of the parking because I "Exceeded the maximum stay period (ANPR)" by an overstay duration of 15 minutes.
The photos given are not of my car parked but instead, of me driving on a road showing a central double white line and even another car driving past me on the opposite side of the road.
Firstly, I thought that the photo had to enforce the reason for the charge, in this case "parking"?
Secondly, is there any grace period if you're unable to return to your vehicle in the allotted time?
I am a disabled driver and was struggling to get back to my vehicle after having had a fall that day.
Thirdly, surely the company should be sending these by guaranteed 24hr delivery, to ensure that we receive the letters in enough time to be able to pay or appeal them within 14 days?
It is now day 14 and I have no time to appeal or to pay the original amount of £60, so I now have to pay £100.
I am absolutely fuming about the way this company keeps issuing fines. It seems they can make all these rules but make it impossible to question them.
Can anyone advise me as a matter of urgency please ?
Huge thank you.
