Situation is that one party has limited funds, tho' an almost certainly valid case. Yes, they can go NWNF, and possibly they may be able to call on the Legal Protection included in their house policy, but neither of these are certain, and there is groundwork to be done first.
So, they are pursuing the issue by having communication with the solicitor of the other party. I assume that if a solicitor were to act on behalf of this thread's client, they'd be able to 'oblige' the other party's solicitor to respond, but can a layperson do this? Is there a 'secret message' that adds legitimacy?
