Appeal Timeframe

We as defendants have received a favourable ruling, the claimant solicitors agent requested leave to appeal. which was refused by the District Judge. We are aware that if the claimant wishes to appeal they will have to apply to a circuit judge.

The question is, is it 21 days from the ruling that the appeal has to be lodged and how is this timescale affected by weekends and bank holidays, notwithstanding an application for an extension of time.

A period of 21 days is exactly that. So if something must be done within 21 days of 1 April it must be done by 22 April.
