Court ordered joint expert evidence. This Monday was the date both parties need to agree on a joint letter. I wrote to defendant solicitor and didn’t get response. We have exchanged witness statement and now her solicitor should know it’s her who caused problems. She lied in the statements too. What should I do in the next step? Should I inform court that the defendant didn’t want to do the joint expert evidence? Or I just follow court order and prepare for the final hearing without joint expert evidence. Thank you.

Under CPR35.8 you may issue instructions to the single joint expert. You must send a copy of your instructions to the other party.

Court ordered joint expert evidence. If I want to go single, should I ask for court permission? After the defendant solicitor saw my evidences in the witness statements and he knew his client was lying everything. For me, there is no need for the expensive expert evidence, as the installation manual says for it, Any advice for next step?

The other party can issue their instructions to the single joint expert, under the same rule.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
