  • 2nd letter after requesting all evidence and information

Hi, I wrote to DCB re: a Claim against me requesting all the information and evidence relating to the claim. I asked for a reply within two weeks in order to be able respond to the court but still have not received a response. What is the best follow-up letter to send?

You can ask them for an extension, just write to them, state that 'you seek an extension allowed under CPR 15.5 so they can provide you with the requested documentation.'

Make sure you get written confirmation that an extension has been granted.

The following is an example Defence (just be aware that some of the points in the Defence might not apply).

Example Defence link doesn't work, but update. Don't miss Defence filing date.
