    I noticed that some posts have British spellings and have the pound sign instead of the dollar sign.

        I have not seen that response on this forum before as there is little or no knowledge of US law - are you US trained JK2054? My son did a year at a US law school so I have heard a lot about the differences....

            Well US trained means do you have a US law degree? Or have you worked within the US legal system? Pretty obvious really! You have knowledge of US law so that answers my question.

            Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

            Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

            If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
