N180 form

I have received a N180 form today to complete . I am the claimant and the defendant got the default judgement set aside . Last week I received his defence and today I sent my response we to his defence . I was told by CAB that I needed to send a N180 with my response then today I get a copy from the court . I have filled it all correctly so think it will be fine . However am I required to discuss it and agree it with the defendant ? I’ve obviously sent him copies of everything but do t particularly want to correspondence directly with him (he’s an abusive ex) . So basically should I have discussed the n180 with him before it was sent ?

No, you fill the N180 yourself and send a copy to court and defendant. ignore anything else not relevant. CAB are pathetic don't listen to them
