  • CCJ removal help

    Hi Everyone,

I am hoping to secure some advice on completing a N244 form for a CCJ that was issued in June 2022.

The original debt is something I am unaware of, by a company called Cash4uNow who have since ceased trading min 2023. Merligen Investments have also ceased trading and they bought the alleged debt from C4UN, which was then bought by Moriarty Law who issued a CCJ in 2022. I have called Moriarty today to understand where the debt has come from, they had no further information to provide me and I am no appealing through the N244 form. I need some advice as to how to fill in the form, what to state in terms of the debt. Interestingly, the debt CCJ states 'settled' on my credit file despite settling the claim, and the original debt is not on the file.

    Any advice is much appreciated.
