  • Attachment of earnings made against partner****

    Hi everyone ,

My partner parked the car way back at the start of last year in a so called council owned car park. got a small fine £45 which has snowballed to £215. She has now got an attachment of earnings in the post today stating that it has been served on her employer which shes freaking out about , but am i right in saying that they need her permission first before they take anything because that is stealing against her will , tit would be a data breach the minute her employer agrees she works for the company and gives details and that asking them if they have a liability order in place ? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated .

If the attachment was served through the court then the employer has to comply, her objection is not a consideration.
