  • Can I email Form N180 to the court ?

    Good Morning all
    Just a quick question I've have been sent a Questionnaire form N180 to fill and send back to the Civil National Business Centre with the address given, it doesn't include an email address does anyone know if I can send via email and if so would it be classed as retuned/served I've emailed the claimants solicitor's asking if they'll accept service via email

    Hi Everyone, well I finally got through to the courts, 1 hour and 45 minutes, anyway you can email them the N180 form, the email address is ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk

        Hi all, just a quick update. The email address to send the N180 to has changed as of 28/2/24 the correct address is now DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk

          Just for the sake of clarity that is only for the legacy system or paper claims.

          for OCMC claims its OCMCNton@justice.gov.uk

          Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

          Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

          If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
