  • Third Party Debt Order N349

Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me please. I have been through the whole process trying to get my money back from an illegal gas fitter. I have a CCJ, court bailiffs were involved and had to give up. Next, I obtained a High Court Writ and the sheriffs tried and failed. I am now considering next steps. Would this be an N349 third party debt order? I have not got his bank details, is this necessary for the form or can the court find out? I don't know if there is anything else I should do first.
    Advise very gratefully received.
    Thank you

There is no point applying for a third party debt order if you do not know the bank account. Are these details not shown on this tradesman's invoices?

Consider applying for an order to obtain information under CPR 71: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...l/rules/part71

Hello, thank you for responding. Yes, I think that would be much better, thank you so much. I have heard that a penal notice can be attached to the order but I don't understand what this means (looks like). Do I ask the court to do this when I apply for the order?
