  • Consent order

    I have just recieved a consent order to sign to drop the claim made against me. Is it possible for someone to confirm it is safe to sign?

    We can't tell you if it is good for you to sign because that's your decision alone to make. We can however translate what the consent order is intended to do if you don't understand certain parts of it but you are going to have to upload those parts in question for us to look at.

      CONSENT ORDER


      UPON the court noting that:


      THE Claimant agreeing to comply with her tenancy agreement

      BY CONSENT it is ordered that:
      1. Further hearings to be vacated.
      1. possession claim including rent claim is dismissed
      1. no order for costs

        I will add.

        That an order was made for possession and to pay rent and costs to the claimant last year..

        Short story as far as I was aware I ended my tenancy years ago. Unknown to me, my name was never removed and the occupants were living there illegally for many years.

        Will signing this nullify the order made?
