Has anyone got any help/advice ? I have 2 young children (10 and 14) and after two trips to high court to get a court order put in place with my abusive XH he still wont do what the court order says and I cant afford to take him back to court. My main concern at the moment is that he lied in court saying a) that he was the main carer for our children for our 17 marriage (he worked in London/police officer !!) and I gave up my job to care for our children; he then went on to say going forward he would undertaken 50/50 responsibility for our children simply so he didnt have to pay any child maintenance. This was not explored but what was put in place was to sell the family home - I have spent a hugely stressful year and a half trying to find a suitable and affordable house for me and the kids - he sees the kids about 1/2 days a month and doesnt contribute financally to their lives. I have tried to ask him to have the kids whilst I view houses but he just ignores my requests meaning I have to take our 10 year to view houses to which she spends the whole time crying whilst I view them. I have put several propositions to him ie. changing the mortgage to interest only/ possibly me (my mum) buying him out just so the kids have some stability but he just ignores these requests. I now have another date in March to go to court whereby he has asked for the court to force the sale of the house - can anyone offer any advice on this. It goes without saying that there have been years of domestic abuse from him and he has been arrested for control and coercion.
