  • help finding right form for small claims court

I went into my local small claims court and asked for a form for making a claim against someone for money
She gave me 2 forms as she did not know which one was the correct one to use
I have looked on the gov web site and found no such info as to which one I should use
I found the forms online so hear they are

    https://assets.publishing.service.go..._0922_save.pdf
    https://assets.publishing.service.go...1087065/N1.pdf

Anyone know which one is which please?

    Thanks

PS the "CRP part 8" form that I have hear from the court dose not have kings bench written in the top right like the online form dose

N1 Claim Form for a debt. Certainly NOT a Part 8 claim.

Had you thought of using moneyclaim online?

If you are not using moneyclaim online then you will need to attach to your Particulars of Claim copies of all relevant contract documents (if any).
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read this: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

Read Practice Direction 7, para 5.1:

        5.1 (1) Subject to subparagraph (2), if a claim

        (a) is started in the County Court under Part 7;

        (b) is a claim only for an amount of money, whether specified or unspecified; and

        (c) is not a claim for which special procedures are provided in the Civil Procedure Rules or practice directions,

form N1 must be sent to: County Court Money Claims Centre, PO Box 527, M5 0BY.

that online form must be slightly different to the one I have
as what you have typed there is not on my claim form
as I was told to hand it into the courts
