    Accidentally pressed post reply ^

I have received a letter from overdales solicitors regarding an old next account I had stating that I have 30 days from the date of the letter to either make a one off payment, agree a payment plan or respond to this letter

for the record I have never spoken with Lowell or any solicitors about this debt

Received a claim? Yes/No: not from Northampton county court but an overdales type reply form (Box A - I owe the debt, box B - I owe some of, but not all… , box C - I don’t know if I owe the debt, box D - I dispute the debt)

Issue Date: letter dated 30th nov 2022
Have you Acknowledged the Claim?: no response made or calls to overdales/Lowell since receiving
Total Amount Claimed : £1000 before fees if a court claim is initiated
    Claimant’s Name: Lowell
    Solicitors Firm: overdales solicitors
    Original Creditor: next directory
Original Debt (eg. Credit card/Loan/Overdraft) : catalogue
Particulars of Claim: ( Please type out in full excluding names/account numbers/exact amounts ):
Is the debt Statute Barred (have you had any contact with the creditor or claimant over the last 6 years?): last payment made in oct 2019 -nothing since - had a conversation with next before they sold it to Lowell but since had no contact at all about it
List any letters you have sent (eg: CCA/ CPR ): none yet, will be doing this as soon as someone can advise what I need to send (templates would be very useful)
Any Other Information or Background Details:

Would be really appreciative to have some support on what is best to do to manage this before it goes to court. I need to avoid a CCJ at all costs so if my only option is to pay, please advise that

    thanks in advance!
