This is a parking notice from my gym. I overstayed the time period by 20 minutes or so. I discussed it with a member of the gym who said they would get it cancelled for me but they never did. I kept getting reminder letters but just ignored them as I was under the impression they couldnt take me to court as it was a private matter

So go back to the gym and tell them to have it cancelled.
If it is the gym's car park then UK car Park management should do what they say.
If the gym decline let them know you will post on social media about it.

Meanwhile acknowledge the claim, but do not enter a defence.

Send a Subject Access Request to UK Car park (template in short cuts panel on right)
Send a CPR31.14 request to Gladstones ( " " " " " " " )

The templates are for debt cases so will need amending to suit your circumstances.

Finally edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred, so "the driver overstayed.....etc"

I know how it feels, it makes me sick when I know from experience the humiliation, the fear and powerlessness. Since I am here , I am observing and experiencing the fenomenon: I must prove I am innocent!!! Majority of debt collection agency are harassing and harming the society and no one seems to be even aware!
Last month ( after year of investigation) I drag them to court. Capquest Criminals who managed to destroy my life . They have never provided evidence, I have never owned £10000, they have steal it from me and no one was interested I have no debt at all. Why I payed via instalments over years?
Well I was terrified, after coming home one day to see my mother shaking, hardly able to say and my 3 years daughter crying and crying. Besides the fear ( they took money and promised to come back) , I have never thought that gangsters are allowed to collect the money from any one! That this is qualified for business and I will live through the hardship with my family for years, just to find out there are others around. Gangsters not collectors, however some people do starve, so they can generate income and invests. It took me forever, my mother passed away and my daughter is not little anymore. I’m not scared and even if it will take a lifetime: I will take it back and make sure they answer their offences. They have no right to be active as legal business, they belong in prison.
Finally the Judge made the order, so they have stopped to robbed me. Now it’s time to pay back, thus new claim. And they will one day, hopefully with horrific compensation, so I will stopped to struggle with credit files and go for holiday before I dye. My mother wasn’t lucky
I am full of anger and disgust, I realised too late what is going on. But you don’t have to. If the debt is not acceptable, if it doesn’t feel right in your heart Bella , don’t take it, never let them parasites live on you. Believe me the law will provide and the judge as well, you will leave the Court as freeborn again. They are not above it and will not escape responsibility if you experience will combine the emotional suffering, being frightened or simply harassed by any. Unfortunately it may take time, because you don’t need legal help. If you know the truth and if you share it, you will be best representative of yourself.
