  • Money Claim Online help

    Hey all,
First time posting so bare with me if I get something wrong.

I'm taking my ex to small claims court for items that were loaned to her, totalling close to £1500.
She filed her defence with basically stated that these items were gifts and not loans and that it was a vexatious litigation.
I'm not too worried about her defence as I have a text message confirming that these items were loans and not gifts as well as receipts for the items.

She filed her defence today with Money Claim online but in the recent transactions it says that on the same day as she filed her defence, a bar was put into place.

I really have no idea what this means and Money Claims online doesn't tell me where I go from here.

    Thanks all.

Here is a link to the Money Claims Online Guide. Read the glossary on page 26 for a definition of what it means a bar has been put in place.
