  • a statement of truth

I'm in the process now of changing solicitor. I have now found out the one I'm getting rid of has submitted 2 medical reports which I have not signed a 'statement of truth' declaration to.
He has also failed to reply to a SAR request.

What guidelines has he broken & what should my next step forward be.

Medical reports are signed by the medical practitioner making the report.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

I have to sign a 'statement of truth' if I agree with the contents of the report. The report may not be disclosed. to the other side if I have not signed it.

Very odd that a ex 'lawyer' would not know this to be the case. !!!!!!

Please do not respond to any more of my posts.

I think you may be confused - see PD 16 para 4: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr.../pd_part16#4.1

I shall be delighted to do as you ask.

Is that an example of what Diderot referred to as "esprit de l'escalier"? :-)

Moving on, it seems this so called 'solicitor' is in trouble.. The SRA are have informed me, according to their regulations I must sign a disclosure statement confirming I have carried out a reasonable and proportionate search of all documents I am required to disclose.
Also to confirm I understand the duty to disclose and that, to the best of my knowledge, this has been carried out.

This so called solicitor disclosed these reports before giving me the opportunity to sign a 'statement of truth' He should have not have disclosed the medical reports.

The ICO are also looking for an answer on his refusal to reply to a SAR.

What a piece of shit, time for me to have some fun at this ##### expense.
              Literally.
