I have an outstanding balance with a company called Direct digital. They have been harassing me since 2018. I’ve now received an email threatening court action if I don’t pay within 14 days. anyone else have issues with them and have they taken you to court. Thank you

You do not say what the debt was for. Presumably you purchased an item from them and have not made full payment. As a well respected company, they will recover debts and take court action to recover what is theirs and in addition, will have court costs to add to your debt.
This could result in you having a bad debt recorded against you which in turn could affect any future credit elsewhere, so no matter how long the debt has been outstanding, if it is your debt, then best advice would be to pay up or at least speak with them and seek a settlement..
