It looks fine to me, good job. You've left the bit about the SAR request out which is fine. Correct it's s78.

      Thank you !!

Defence Submitted. Is it just a waiting game now or do I need to confirm a stay with the court ?

What are the next steps likely to be ?

      Thanks again.

The Court will confirm receipt of your Defence on MCOL.

Both parties will receive a Directions Questionnaire which must be filled in and sent to the Court and a copy to the other party. You need to confirm that you are interested in mediation. It might be an idea to send their solicitor a copy of your defence, make sure you get Proof of Postage.

        Excellent guide below:

Afternoon, Phoned the court who confirmed that the Case is now stayed and I have nothing further to do. They also said the claimant had 28 days to respond or the case would be struck. Is that correct ?

Incidentally, the CCA and SAR requests are now outside statutory guidelines. Should I be chasing ?

          Thanks.

              No I don't !!

Have received the SAR Info, bit it is just copies of Letters sent by Arrow/Drydens. Nothing pre-dating their involvement.

I shall do nothing. It is what I am best at.

                  Thanks echat, I won't.

Defence was acknowledged on 09/02/2022. Do I need to do something after 28 days ? The lady at the court said something about the claim being struck out ?

                  Thanks.

no await any further correspondence from Courts. court staff jumping the gun in such a short time, after lengthy time could be looked at to get it struck out not now, the next move is up to claimant if ever they want to proceed they would have to pay a fee to open case up.
