  • Refund subject to a CONTRACT

Anglian bottled being taken to court and agreed to pay my money back but they have been awkward by asking for the front door back in a timeframe that makes it very difficult to achieve. Letter attached. How do I stand if I miss the deadline to give their old door back? Thanks

So what was the door contract and was that also in dispute?

Nothing to stop you changing the offer to return within a reasonable time. Probably being awkward because they have backed down

Did the offer you agreed specify that time frame in which to make the door available?

They gave me no choice and said they couldn’t extend the time so I had to agree it to get my refund. The door is useless to them I would imagine and they have clearly disposed of my original door as this was over a year ago. If I can’t get another supplier to fit a door in the time frame then I’ll have a whole in the front of my house

Why do you think you won't be able to get replacement door fitted within 15 weeks?
