  • Can anyone help CCJ I don’t know anything about?

As one of the people stuck in the midst of the housing crisis I thought I would try and buff up my credit history. To my horror I have a CCJ. Have phoned the courts this morning and it was raised in 2017 by Lowell against a debt with orange. I’m supposing they mean telephone company.
so I have never ever had a contract with orange. Secondly I was in hospital with a broken back in 2017 when this was raised. My ex was dealing with paper work - clearly not this though.

is my plan right? Can I submit an n244 to have it set aside? And ask for the supporting documentation to prove it’s my debt? Orange have been EE since 2011 - 10 years ago and I’ve no idea who Lowell are? or why they are the ones bringing the.CCJ?

any help would be hugely appreciated.

    thanks.

    Hi BADGER123,

Send Lowell a SAR before you do anything else, they have 30 days to provide all the data they hold on the account of a 6 year period. You can email it to them.

There is a previous connection between EE and Orange -
