Reply to defence and counterclaim

Hi, I Issued a small claim back in March via the online system and following the defendant’s reply, it has been transferred to county claim. I Have been waiting for further directions from court and was informed it is still with a judge.
i Have now received a request from the defendant’s solicitors that they are filing a revised defence and counterclaim.

Are you able to help with a template I can use to reply to defence and counterclaim? Also, I read online that I need to file directions questionnaire together with the reply but this was done online following defendants’ initial reply so I do not have any hard copy of the directions questionnaire.

I understand that i will have 14 days to reply to counterclaim, does it start from the day i received the email from the solicitors? they have served it today via email at 630pm.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
