  • Secured Loan being held up by charging order

I am currently securing a 2nd mortgage on my property and during the process came across a charging order received when my husband's ltd company went bust. The private individuals went to court and an order was placed on my home - I understand I could argue it as the business was ltd but for now my issue is around the lender requesting a legal document to be issued around the removal of the charging order before funds will be approved. So far the claimants solicitor is saying they don't understand the need for a legal discharge letter as a promise to remove letter from the claimant is sufficient, but my lender is not accepting that and will only accept a letter from a solicitor. This is not a house sale or company debt. Is there a legal letter I can request?
