  • Need ccj set aside or by consent

Hi there I got a default CCJ back in 2018 from a debt of £565 which dates back to 2013, It was finally settled in 2019 after I recieved the only letter about having a ccj at a new address from which it was first issued. The reason I didn’t pay the debt before is because I moved address several times since moving to England from Ireland, the debt was from the time I briefly lived in Scotland. As soon as I realised the ccj was there I paid it off straight away. It’s only now when I’ve started using my credit file and planning for a mortage this year with my family, I will struggle to get a mortage. I was turned down to get credit for something else a couple months ago, Cabot where the debt buyers, is there anyway I’d win this in court now to try get it set aside or by consent? As I didn’t receive the original court letter and when I did realise I paid it off quick? Any help be much appreciated thanks Luke
