  • Missed court order date for evicence

Hi, hoping someone can offer some advice here.

Basically, I am being taken to court for a parking ticket while I had purchased parking. I didn't fully understand one of the letters from the court and have failed to submit my evidence (appeals letters, email receipts, bank statements) and witness statement within the ordered time, 28 days before hearing.

Is this now a lost cause int he claimants favor or is there any way I can ask the Judge to delay the hearing and/or consider my evidence proving I did not breach contract?

    kind thanks,

I was 3 weeks late with the witness statement - case was to be heard next friday.

There was another order issued by the judge which I believe is due to covid which may have saved my bacon.

Submitted the statement to the claimant and the court, within a few hours I received notice of discontinuance. A bit annoying as I won't get any costs after spending around 300 hours on this but at least it's over.

Good result. If it's from the claimant make sure the court have got one as well
