  • Need help! Received a letter before claim from Kearns Solicitors

    Hi

I was wondering if anyone had advice. I received a letter of claim from Kearns Solicitors last week on behalf of LC Asset 1 S.A.R.L. The original creditor was Newday Ltd and the balance outstanding is £2624.95. The original date of the letter was 6th January 2021. I sent off the reply form as a recorded delivery last week that came with the letter of claim form. I followed the advice of Sara from debt camel and ticked box C which was I dont know whether I owe the debt. I also written on the same reply form that i request A copy of the written contract for the debt; A full statement of account, including details of all interest and charges included on the outstanding balance of the debt, explaining how they have been calculated, a calculation of the interest claimed; a description of the nature and amount of any administrative charges included in the debt; a copy of the notices of assignment of the debt.

Do i need to send off a seperate cca request to them or if what i written on the reply form is enough and now just i have to wait for their reply?

    Thanks
