What is the reason you can give for the set aside?

ostell that I never received the response from VCS regarding my original appeal, when I was calling them they did not advise that my appeal had been rejected and then when I did eventually speak with them court forms had river and they then advised that I had until November 30th to pay the fine and close the case?

As I said what reason could you give the court for ignoring them? Having a disagreement and misunderstanding with VCS would not, I believe, be good enough.

You may get VCS to agree to a set aside but getting a judge to agree could be a different story

afternoon all, so I contacted the litigation team as VCS and requested their permission for a set aside, I gave them 7 days to respond and have heard nothing from them once again, therefore I am now going forward with a contested set aside, I am putting together the N244 form along with my witness statement and the draft order and would be most grateful if you could review and advise as and where you feel, I have zero knowledge in this sector but I am just trying my best to fight against VCS and the way they have mistreated me.
