Update from the courts in writing 21/08

Upon considering the court file and email from the defendant and noting that District Judge Ordered further documents from the Claimant in default of which the Claim has been struck out after the Defendents aplication to set aside Judgement in default.

    It is ordered that

    1. The judgement dated may 2017 is set aside pursuant to CPR 13.3 (1)(6)

With the claim being struck out I assume the claimant now cant chase me for any debt?

Sent the registry trust guys an email Saturday. Today Monday received an email stating that they only remove CCJs from the file upon court request. It later goes on to say we received the court request today and the CCJ now has been removed. Same time they have notified the credit reference agencies and have advised they can take up to a week. The courts are on the ball.

So its officially off the registry. Yipee

Well done on getting it removed so quickly, some courts may not be as quick!

Just in response to your earlier post, if the claim has been struck out they would need permission from the court to pursue it. The longer they wait for permission, the less likely a court will allow the claim to proceed.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
