Hi all, new here but I’m after some help and advice if at all possible. In October 2016 I received a default from BT tv upon cancelling. This agreement was set up by my then partner in my name which I was unaware of. I’ve asked for some form of agreement to be sent to me which they tell me they cannot do. I also never received a default notice, which they tell me they are not obliged to provide. I knew about the default and tried to get it removed through Equifax but wasn’t getting anywhere so left it as it didn’t really bother me at the time. *Now I’m looking to move house and it’s the only negative on my credit report and I’m worried it will come back to bite me in the behind. I’ve read some fantastic content on this site so I thought I’d try my luck and see if any of you guys would be able to help.
