Yesterday I sent my signed defence statement to the claimant's solicitor. I just noticed there is a mistake on the date I put on my statement. Would it be possible to amend this mistake and resend my signed statement?

Assuming you sent the same to the court, not unless you pay to amend it which is in the region of £255. You could address it in your witness statement when you come to drafting that but also you could write to the solicitor and point out the error and explain this will be addressed in your witness statement.If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need.
