Hi first post, wondering if nylons can give any advice?
i was knocked off my motorbike whilst passing a stopped vehicle who then decided to do a U-turn.
ive been offered a Part 36 offer on a 50/50 basis. If I refuse and it goes to court I’ve been told I’ll incur legal costs I’ll have to pay myself as the ATE policy will not cover me as my solicitor wants me to accept it.
we have never seen the Police report as yet, where as the defendants has a copy, so I feel as tho they’re at an advantage already?
if I accept the offer I’ll only get 50% of the offer to financial side of the offer.
when I spoke to the solicitor originally I was told they would not deduct any charges from my loss of salary or belongings. But now they say they’ll take 25% of the total amount which includes my losses?
    is this right?
    any info appreciated.
