DRP are just a debt recovery company, you want to look at enforcing the order by going to bailiffs - DCBL are well known and a start.

The order doesn't state how long CEL have to pay the £255 so in the absence of that it is usual to allow 14 days before you look at any enforcement so just bear that in mind.

Drp was with tongue in cheek as this is the company that a lot of the parking compnaies use.

              Hi,

After having the CCJ (this thread was related to) set aside and my costs paid by CEL, 1 year on I have now received a DCBL bailiff note for the same case! I'm assuming that Parking Eye have re-sold the debt to another firm (Can they even do this?) Should I just DCBL and explain that this has been through the court already and set aside? Can I take action to stop this harrasment?

              Thanks

Sorry you talk about CEL and then ParkingEye. Are you saying DCBL are acting in behalf of ParkingEye? Are you absolutely certain it's the same case note, PCN reference etc?

If CEL sold the debt to ParkingEye there would need to have been a notice of assignment - did you receive this? If not keep stum.

You might also want to read the letter carefully. DCBL are registered bailiffs but they also do debt collection on behalf of parking companies.

Does it actually say DCBL or ParkingEye or CEL or someone else has obtained judgment against you?

If you arent sure, post up a redacted copy and we can tell you.
