  • Expert Evidence - advice please

Hi, I'm currently in the process of taking a mechanic to small claims for dangerous workmanship on my mother's car. I've been advised to get 3rd party opinions.

I was hoping someone had a template letter/email I could send around to 3rd party mechanics asking for their opinion.

I'm not really sure what I should include. I don't want to write something that'll cause the opinion to be bias to support my case.

If anyone could help that would be great.

    Thanks, Kay

    Hi and welcome

I trust it is your mother who is making the claim if she commissioned the work.
If you require a report s DEKRA engineers report should do.
There's more info and an application form here: https://www.themotorombudsman.org/co...ehicle-reports
