I have received a n271 dated 3rd April 2018 I stupidly ignore a n57 as I had no clue what is was regarding , the ccmc the claimant been CABOT FINANCIAL LTD UK , after delving back I have found that it was related to a credit card in my estranged husband' name to wich I was a secondary on the account , HSBC this was back in 2008 to wich I vaguley remember unfortunately I was in a serious accident a RTA to wich I was ketamin for my serious injury it actually made me not only recall the accident but most of 2008 , anyway with not even knowing who Cabot were and not thinking a n56 letter was real I did the wrong thing in thinking it was a scam after separating from husband I did get into debt through depresson a fighting to get my daughter diagnosed to wich she is autistic I was not in a food place but get on top of things and I have tried to sort things out before things ever got to this to stage , so I am now panickng not knowing what the back to do and if a bailiff knocks on my door well my daughter will be hysterical to a stranger ... please I have been told that I should not have to pay this debt if it' from 2008 please help asap

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service
Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)
If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
