Yep, just continue to ignore.
The clue about how threatening this actually is can be seen by reading that last paragraph:"if you don't respond we can tell our client they can take action if they want to"
They could have done that the day after the event!!
It is just one more attempt to scare you into paying them their extortionate demands.

Hi all, just an update, after receiving a 4th letter with a settlement offer of less than the orignally amount, I continued to ignore and haven't received anything since, it's been a couple of months now so I'm hoping they've given up. Thank you for your advice it has really helped to settle my mind and thought I'd update in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation x
