  • DWF letter

    This is my original post

    http://legalbeagles.info/forums/foru...anned-6-months

    I got a 3rd letter.
In the letter it says if I do not respond, my credit rating may me affected for 6 years or that a bailiff may come to collect goods.

Those are over £6 worth of groceries that were never at loss.
I know I was told nothing will happen. But I really want to know if I can be sure on this. I don't want neither of that to happen or any court order

100% stone cold nothing will happen.

Only a court can fine you and if they were stupid enough to file a claim in the county court to recover their imaginary costs they'd get hammered in the same was as another of these leeches did in the oxford case.

Only a court ordering the bailiffs gives them the right to do anything and they can't put anything on your credit file without obtaining a CCJ.

I hope one day some misguided child of a solicitor gets one of these and they file a claim for Harassment against these clowns. In telling people they have a fine and recovering false expenses they should know or ought to know that conduct would amount to harassment.

DWF LLP is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority,.
As such I find it a more disgusting outfit than RLP, who are nothing more than a commercial outfit.

For DWP to continue to use an outdated emotive term such as "bailiff, just to frighten their victims, puts them on a par with "protection" racketeers.
They know that they will not be successful in court, given a robust defence, and that their claims for money have no justification.

Continue ignoring them, let them waste their money on useless threatening letters
